History
The Kriti Ponor Center for Creative Research was founded in 2024 by Darja Bajagić and Ognjen Maliković. It is located in the ancient town of Risan, Montenegro.
Montenegro, situated on the Adriatic Coast, is a compact nation with a population of slightly over half a million inhabitants. It boasts a rich cultural heritage characterized by its striking natural landscapes, diverse cultural influences, and vibrant artistic traditions.
However, despite this cultural wealth, the [culture] sector faces notable impediments including resource scarcity, infrastructure inadequacy, and restricted opportunities for artistic advancement.
In response to these challenges, Bajagić and Maliković embarked on an ambitious venture to establish the Kriti Ponor Center for Creative Research.
